LIMITED WARRANTY
Bathtubs and ceramic tile walls which are refinished by NuSurface can carry up
to a 1 year LIMITED WARRANTY. Bathroom sinks, tile and
laminate countertops, cultured marble, cabinets, appliances, and commercial work
and other light remodeling type work can carry up to a 1 year LIMITED
WARRANTY. Chips repairs carry up to a 90 day LIMITED
WARRANTY. This can be dependent on the particular job, condition of
a surface and the use it is exposed to. If there is an exception, the length of
the warranty will be your client proposal or client invoice. This
LIMITED WARRANTY covers defective workmanship with regards to
remodeling as well as an overall breakdown and general failure of adhesion to
the refinished surface(s), and is subject to the following conditions.
Care Instructions Do Not
- Use any type of rubber or plastic mats
- Set items on the surfaces that may trap moisture
- Allow submersion for an extended period of time, dripping and leaking faucets.
- Use abrasive or harsh cleaners
- Use excessive heat over 350 degrees or open flames
- Drop any sharp objects or cuts on the surface
- Remove and replace drain flanges
- Allow indelible ink or indelible paint, nail polish removers or any type of
solvent on the surface
- Allow caulking to crack, lift or separate from surfaces
- Allow damaged areas to be left unrepaired
Cleaning Instructions
- Carefully read instructions of cleaner being used, and make sure it is
a mild liquid non-abrasive cleaner
- Leave the cleaning material on the surface for only a few minutes to initially
loosen soiled area
- Use sponge to continue to loosen soiled area
- Rinse cleaner off with clean water and pat dry
- Patting the surface dry after use reduces the cleaning, while extending the
life and luster of the surface
- A clean and dry surface is the best policy
Other Instructions
- Do not replace shower doors for at least 4 day unless other wise
instructed
- General decay of plumbing and fixture items can occur over time and NuSurface
may have to remove them. NuSurface will not be responsible to replace these worn
out items
- Before using any drain opener always remove any standing water. Use a funnel
to deliver a liquid drain cleaner directly into the drain. Use drain cleaner
sparingly and do not allow to boil out and
contact the refinished surface
- Refinishing work requires protection of surrounding surfaces by using masking
paper and tap and occasionally when removing the tape from painted or
wallpapered surfaces damage can occur.
Removal will be done as carefully as possible, but if damage occurs NuSurface
will not be responsible for repainting, touchup painting, or replacing wallpaper
- After refinishing do not allow liquids on the surface for at least 72 hours
- Don't enter the area where refinishing has been completed for at least 24
hours or as instructed
- Since every situation cannot be addressed, please follow other directions
given by individuals completing the task
